Is it CH or TR? Help With Tricky Sounds Multisensory Printable Worksheets

I created these stories to help my daughter recognize the difference between the "ch" and "tr" sounds. These worksheets helped. They are not meant to be the complete answer, just a boost in the right direction. I hope they help your learners as much as they did mine. This packet includes 14 "Is it tr or ch?" worksheets. It is a great start to help children to differentiate between the two sounds. This is for one license. I request you purchase additional licenses for multiple users. *Please no

Experience

I have experience teaching Pre-K through 5th grade in both public and private elementary schools. Currently, I am a stay-at-home mom, part-time literacy specialist and have embarked on a new venture with Teachers Pay Teachers (TPT), inspired by my need for quality worksheets while homeschooling my daughters.

Teaching style

"I believe that all children learn in unique ways, and each child, class, and school year brings its own set of dynamics. Differentiation is key to effective teaching. While I advocate for play-based, experiential, project-based, and interest-driven learning, I also recognize the value of worksheets and traditional practice. There is no single approach to teaching—it requires a balance. Effective teaching is about meeting the individual needs of students while addressing the needs of the class as a whole. What this looks like can vary daily, depending on the subject, the student, and the group.

My own education history

I hold an undergraduate degree in Liberal Studies and pursued graduate studies in New York City. During this time, I had the privilege of working with the Teachers College Reading and Writing Institute while earning my Master’s Degree and teaching credentials in Early Childhood Education and K-6 at Teachers College, Columbia University. Additionally, I am trained as an Orton-Gillingham Associate and hold a professional certificate in Teaching Literacy from Birth through Grade 6.

Additional biographical information

I am a mother, teacher, daughter, friend, and advocate. I believe that our children are the future, and education is the key to unlocking their potential. I hope that my worksheets and ideas can be a valuable resource for others, as Teachers Pay Teachers has been for me in teaching my own children. Together, we can make a difference, starting from the ground up
