About the store
I am a credentialed Math teacher with a masters in teaching. I left the classroom to be a stay at home mom to my three (yup, three) boys. After spending years working on lesson plans and building projects, I just couldn't bare thinking about it all just sitting there collecting dust. I, like all teachers, know how much work and time it takes to prep just one day so if I can make just one day easier for a fellow teacher then I am happy :)

Unit Rate

This is a power Point on Unit Rates. What is a unit rate? What does it look like? Examples of finding unit rates. It includes a fun page to have projected on the board as students come in. It also includes a warm up (on dividing fractions which they will need to find a unit rate), notes, and practice (examples). In my classroom, I project my Power Points up on the white board. This allows me to interact with it, write on it, and let my students come up and write on it. It is also easy to pr

Ratio Worksheet

This ratio worksheet helps the students to visually see what a ratio looks like as well as gets them thinking about what a ratio looks like in the real world. It could easily be a small homework assignment or something they work on directly after a lesson on ratios. If you check out my Power Point Lecture on Ratios, this worksheet connects right with that lesson. Thanks!

Equivalent Fractions

In order to fulfill Common Core Standard 6.R.P.A 3. A. The students will need to be able to make tables of equivalent ratios. In order to do this they will need to know what is an equivalent ratio/fraction which (according to common core, they learn in the 3rd and 4th grade). This Power Point on Equivalent Fractions will make the transition into the tables that much easier, or at the very least refresh the memories. Like all my Power Point lessons I always like to be able to project my slides o

This is a power Point on Ratios. What is a ratio? What does a ratio look like? How would you use a ratio in real life? It includes a warm up with reducing fractions, notes and examples. If this works for you check out my ratio worksheet :) In my classroom, I project my Power Points up on the white board. This allows me to interact with it, write on it, and let my students come up and write on it. It is also easy to print out in case a student has a special need for it. Easy to upload onto you

Mathematics "Late Pass"

A printable "Late Pass". I generally don't use "Free Passes" as I consider any homework or bookwork to be simple practice. While I understand life happens, even for young kiddos, it can't be skipped, but may be late with a pass. It's nice to have them write out their reason. Sometimes they are funny, sometimes they give you insight into a students home life. SUGGESTION: I usually print on colored paper. This may help with students re-printing them.

Classroom Expectations

Attached is a Form on Classroom Expectations. I usually print them out for each student, but this could potentially be blown up and laminated to hang on the wall. In fact I'll probably do that too next time :)
