This is a book about rocks and soil where students can read the simple text lines and also practice their fine motor skills by drawing pictures on each page. This book is made with the intention for each page to be cut in half (to make multiple copies easier).

In this adorable book about ocean animals, students will have fun being creative with their writing while practicing adjectives and adverbs. Students will also be able to practice fine motor skills by practicing their drawing on each page of the book.

Students will discover new kinds of healthy foods while they practice the alphabet, improve their writing and phonetic skills as well as increase fine motor skills in their drawings. Students write the name of the healthy food on the line and draw a picture in the box on each page.

The beginning of another school year can be a crazy and hectic time. There is always a lot of information to gather on your students and their parents. These are eight forms that will help you get organized. Included in these forms are parent contact, volunteer opportunities, permission forms, student information sheet, supply list, room mom responsibilities and sign-up, and other classroom event sign-up opportunities.

Let students be scientist as they observe through their senses all about pond life! Students will enjoy writing as they record their observations! I suggest pairing this activity with a trip to a local/neigborhood pond to give the students hands on experience. This would make for a great hook as you begin a pond unit.

Students take part in creating their own healthy diet as they plan what to eat for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Students will use this activity to practice their writing skills. This sheet could be used as a graphic organizer as well.

Since most of us don't live near an ocean, show a short movie clip, pictures, or read a book with a lot of ocean animals. Afterwards, have students complete this activity.
