Ever get tired of students asking you how to spell a word? This has worked for me. I have students try spelling it themselves twice before I give them the correct spelling. It cuts down on the number of kids that ask me to spell a word for them because they have to try it on their own first.
All of my products are fully editable. I want them to work for you in the way you need them to.

Experience
After having taught in traditional schools for several years, I switched to a project based learning school two years ago. I discovered that building projects was a strength of mine I never knew I had! Now, I wouldn't teach any other way.
Teaching style
I prefer to set projects up for kids and let them do the learning. I leave breadcrumbs along the way to help pave their path to the learning goals, but they do all the work. Project based learning requires a lot of front-loading, but then, I can step back and let the students learn. I guide them and facilitate their learning process, but in the end, they come to their own conclusions, not mine.
