This product helps students identify text structures through nonfiction, fiction, and poetry. This will be a fun comprehension activity that also tells about the Harlem Renaissance. Students will be able to identify key words and their structures. This is also an activity that is great for end of the year test review!

Experience

I am both a Literature and ELA teacher. I currently teach 7th grade ELA and work with students who are in the inner city. I have a great love for what I do and would like to share my materials.

Teaching style

I like to focus with a model, then a group practice, and then an individual practice. I believe that what is good for one student is great for all students; thus, I provide all students with materials that will help them succeed.

My own education history

I have a background in English Literature alongside an education in Bible and Theology. I went to a four year college and graduated in three years. I gained a Master's degree in education for the secondary classroom.
