Introduction to fractions
In this set you will find fractions defined and compared. Tools to help the children learn about fractions are the number lines and fraction strips. They help the children describe fractions as parts of other fractions. In this unit you will also find problem solving activities which are enjoyable by the children. There are two matching games and an “Assemble Your Own Pizza” game which is sure to delight the children as they work in your math center.

Rainforest Addition Game
Children roll a die and move along a gameboard solving number problems After solving the problem the children write the problem and answer on their recording sheet.
