This selection contains many worksheets for the numbers 1-20. This is a Shared Reading activity It is in two formats. One is simple print and ready The children color the pictures. The first one has patterns making the book a craftivity. The children in that version could also illustrate the pictures matching the words I included a trace and write activity for the numbers 1-5. The worksheet could be used for homework after completing the book.

Problem solve with a squirrel puppet and acorn cut outs. Further practice includes problem solving with forest animals. At the kindergarten level the teacher will read the story problems and guide the children to solve each.
