This video models the pinch pot and coil technique to create a clay cupcake. This project is part of a Wayne Thiebaud inspired unit which is available in a bundle in my store. Students really enjoy this project. I use Laguna EM330 clay but I imagine air dry clay would work too.

This Mandala ppt has a few slides regarding the history of Mandalas. It includes student work examples as well as daily warm ups related to Mandalas and principles of design.
