About the store
I've taught 15 years as a secondary mathematics teacher and 3 years as a part-time adjunct instructor at the University level. I've taught all secondary grade levels 9-12. My experience included teaching Geometry, Algebra 1 & 2, Probability & Statistics, College Intermediate Algebra, and Intro to Statistics for Liberal Arts students.
After teaching 15 years, I transitioned to being an Instructional Coach for math, helping teachers strategize and plan new ways to engage students in their classrooms.

Exploring Advanced Trigonometry - Law of Sine, Cosine and Trig Functions
This lengthy project will help students explore the Law of Sines and Law of Cosines in an interactive, in depth manner. They will see first-hand that the ratios from Law of Sines will always be equal for any triangle, and discover how to manipulating the Pythagorean Theorem can work for non-right triangles - giving you the Law of Cosines! Investigating Fundamental Ideas of Geometry - Interactive Diagrams
This simple project has students investigate several fundamental rules of Geometry - midpoints of segments, angle bisectors, perpendicular lines, vertical angles & linear pairs, triangle midsegments, and polygon angle sums. This can be done as a whole class lead by the teacher, or done independently. A step-by-step guide makes building these interactive diagrams easy. This project uses Geogebra, a free online diagramming tool.

Centers of Triangles - Exploring the Points of Concurrency
A short, independent exploration of the points of concurrency of a triangle - Incenter, Circumcenter and Centroid (Orthocenter not included in this project). Students will use Geogebra (free online diagramming software) on their browsers to construct their points using an easy to follow step-by-step guide.

Teaching style
My Master's degree was in Teaching Mathematics with an Emphasis on Technology. All of my major projects across my classes incorporate the use of technology in some way, from graphing software, probability simulations, to even using Google Maps.
My own education history
I completed my Bachelors and teacher certification from Eastern Michigan University in 2008.
I obtained my Master's from Siena Heights University in 2015.
