Fun Visual Learning

I am an Elemntary School Teacher with a major in English and I am certified to teach 6-8 ELA. I currently teach children with Auitism k-2. I am certified to teach Autism K-12.

My students are visual learners and they enjoy games of chance which keep them engaged with their peers. They need positive reinforcemnt so errorless learning games give them confidence and prepares them for test taking. My activities meet curriculum standards and teach while playing along. Most activities have individual game sheets and require simple materials like sheet protectors, dry erase markers, stickers, stamps, spinners and dice. Extra matrerials for adding will require money coins.

I currently teach at the Oak Park School District in Michigan in a Autism Program. I have a self contained class with gen ed inclusion instruction. I continually look at gen curriculum and modify it to accommondate my students to keep them engaged and learning!
