Lauren holds a master’s degree in psychology with a specialization in Applied Behavior Analysis from Capella University, as well as a bachelor’s degree from Tufts University. She is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), a Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) in Texas, and a Licensed Applied Behavior Analyst (LABA) in Massachusetts.
With over 10 years of experience working with individuals with disabilities, Lauren has taken on diverse roles, including paraprofessional, registered behavior technician, high school teacher, and behavior specialist. Her experience spans behavioral clinics, public and private schools, community support, and in-home therapy, where she has also served as a trainer and team lead.
Lauren’s professional interests include Acceptance Commitment Therapy, practical applications of ABA in educational settings, trauma-informed practices, dissemination of behavior analysis, and interdisciplinary collaboration. Lauren currently supervises fieldwork students pursuing the BCBA certification both in person and remotely. She feels passionately about providing high-quality supervision.
Lauren recently moved back home to Massachusetts after living in Austin and Dallas for 6 years. She enjoys spending time with her husband, dog, and two cats. She loves musical theater, audiobooks, and traveling. Fun fact: she has been a vegetarian for over 15 years.
