Function Junction

I created and used this in my Personal Financial Math classes after we completed many worksheets that had students calculating interest based on 8% (and sometimes higher) interest rates. I had a student comment that they thought they could make that kind of money just from interest, so I had to give my students a "wake-up call." I created this search where students find current rates so they can see what they are actually earning. Created by Function Junction

In my financial math classes, I find current event articles related to our current units. However, in the Investment Unit, I require them to find one and review it. I give several websites for them to find articles, read and review them. This worksheet leads them through the process. Created by Function Junction.
