About the store
I graduated with my doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy in 2020. From there, I began working in elementary education. Although I loved elementary, I made the switch to high school. Currently I work with high school students and students 18+ in a program that helps support their post high school transition. In this program, we focus on pre-vocational and vocational skills as well as independent living skills.

Check Writing Practice

Even though check writing seems to be a thing of the past, I wanted to add it in to my money management sessions with some of my students. This worksheet has 8 opportunities to practice writing checks. Each check has a scenario depicting what the person is buying, how much it costs, and where it's from. There is no example, but that was on purpose- I feel that my students learn best when I work through the first scenario with them rather than copy from an already completed example.

Task Breakdown Worksheet for Students

I created this document to help support my students who have difficulty with task initiation. Particularly, with large assignments. Several of my students have told me that they have difficulty starting assignments because they simply do not know where to begin. Thus, I created this worksheet to help them break down assignments and tasks into more manageable chunks.

New Jacket Social Story

I created this social student for a student who was having difficulty accepting and wearing a new winter jacket. Their current winter jacket no longer fits them and their parents expressed having difficulty at home with getting the student to wear the jacket. Thus, this social story was created! Enjoy!
