Keeping data in early intervention while working with a young child can be difficult! I have tried many different ways to track data and progress and these new data sheets are my favorite. Track receptive and expressive language along with any other goals you are targeting. Having all your data from past sessions on one or two sheets of paper makes writing progress notes so much easier!
A great resource for early intervention speech therapy! Give this calendar handout to parents and caregivers to work on speech and language skills with their child at home throughout the month. This handout provides easy, fun activities for families to complete together.
Print out this template, cut the sheet in half, and hand out one sheet to families after your weekly speech session to remind them what to work on during the week. For example: "Work on: waving and saying 'bye bye' to toys" "During: play with farm animals" "Example: Move the animals into the barn one by one. Open the door, put the animal in, wave and say 'bye bye', close the door. Repeat for each animal."
