About the store
I have taught at the elementary level for more than 20 years in a high needs area. Students love you for being their rock and depend on you because their needs are great. But that also means that they are still children who are curious, excitable, and love learning. I am currently teaching kindergarten but I've also taught first, third, fourth, and fifth. I love the joy found in teaching the littles. I also enjoy creating learning tools and games for my students because the joy of teaching is seeing them need you less.

My own education history

I graduated from University of California, Davis with a BA in Religious Studies and a minor in Human Development. Then I received my multiple subject teaching credential from California State University, Sacramento focusing on bilingual and multicultural education. Since I am in a low performing high poverty school, I have received countless hours of professional development including balanced literacy, common core, and writing instruction.
