About the store
I have taught at the elementary level for more than 20 years in a high needs area. Students love you for being their rock and depend on you because their needs are great. But that also means that they are still children who are curious, excitable, and love learning.
I am currently teaching kindergarten but I've also taught first, third, fourth, and fifth. I love the joy found in teaching the littles. I also enjoy creating learning tools and games for my students because the joy of teaching is seeing them need you less.

Mixed Numbers and Improper Fractions Spiral Card Game
Otherwise known as "I have...Who has?"
Starting with the start card, students must convert mixed numbers to improper fractions and vice versa. They must match their question card to another's answer card in order to link the cards like dominoes. The game cards can be laid in a line or in a spiral shape.
The start and stop cards in this game provide accountability to find the right answer. If students make a mistake, they will find that the stop card is not in the right place.

Here is a set of dragon cards with decimals numbers. My students love playing war while unknowingly learning to compare decimal numbers.
This set is designed to encounter equivalent decimals frequently. The cards have needless zeros in order to help students learn that more digits does not necessarily mean a greater number. Multiplying Decimals Spiral Card Game
Otherwise known as “I Have...Who Has?”
Instructions
Assemble
Print out all card pages on cardstock.
Laminate.
Cut out cards being careful not to accidentally halve the cards. (Hint: There are six cards on each page and each card is made up of two colors).
Put in a zipper bag.
Play
Collect a small group of students. 2-5 players.
Have the students play rock, paper, scissors to decide who will be in charge of the game.
The “boss” of the game deals out the cards to all players, going in a

I graduated from University of California, Davis with a BA in Religious Studies and a minor in Human Development. Then I received my multiple subject teaching credential from California State University, Sacramento focusing on bilingual and multicultural education.
Since I am in a low performing high poverty school, I have received countless hours of professional development including balanced literacy, common core, and writing instruction.
