This center is designed to be made into two file folder games. Both look the same, but one focuses on addition of doubles, and the other focuses on addition of doubles plus one. The game has a Valentine's Day theme, and includes instructions on assembly, and a print out with instructions, a title, and tabs so that the file folder game can be completely assembled.

This activity uses a pepperoni pizza to help students understand the idea of fact families, and simple addition and subtraction facts. The pepperoni slices serve as manipulatives.
