About the store

I have had the opportunity (and privilege) of working as a county Sub for various grade levels for over 4 years now. I've had the opportunity to assist in Sped, ED, Autism, Behavioral disorders, severely handicapped and special needs classrooms (Mild-severe). I really feel this experience has opened my eyes and heart to the needs of children in their education years. I've gotten to see how every student is a unique individual with different needs.

Teaching style

One thing I have learned throughout the years is that you CANNOT help a student unless you have a personal relationship with them. I love to not only teach, but listen and understand. Various times I've had students come up to me when they have problems in their personal life. I like to lend an ear and truly show that I care for each and every one of them. For me its not just about teaching; its about reaching hearts.

Awards & shining teacher moments

I have always been passionate about Education. I struggled to learn English in my elementary years as it was a second language for me. Those years taught me a lot, but made me empathetic to those who struggle to retain concepts and ideas. The experience made me an avid reader and developed in me a hunger for knowledge. This is a love I like to share and hopefully inspire in others.

I'm a young guy (23) but my heart is in what I do! What I lack in experience; I like to think I compensate in passion and drive! (Trust me, sometimes I have to be reminded to eat and put down what I am doing...Ill learn eventually)
