Experience

Hi! My name is Hanady Mardini. I have been a teacher for more than 20 years now :) and I am still enjoying the process! I started for a couple of years as an elementary homeroom teacher then got an MA in Special Education and still am loving the process. Every day is a gift!

Teaching style

My concentration in teaching children of all ages, skills, and capacities for learning encouraged the practice and implementation of the Multiple Intelligences Theory, originally conceived by Howard Gardner in 1983. Unlike traditional standards for assessing an individual’s general intelligence, Gardner’s theory asserted that intelligence could be identified and developed on multiple levels.

Awards & shining teacher moments

Through dedicated research and extensive knowledge of pedagogic methods for employing the Multiple Intelligences Theory, I successfully founded the Little Big Brain Explorers (LBBE) program in Dubai, UAE in March 2017, and in Amman, Jordan shortly after. (Now renamed as Funlastic Brain).

My own education history

I hold a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Linguistics and Modern Languages (English and French) and Master’s (MA) degree in Special Education. Funlastic Brain is a dynamic and result-driven educational endeavor that aims to not only to challenge, but broaden the scope and understanding of conventional learning among children through intellectual, emotional, and physical stimulation. By opening the door to multi-level thinking and interaction at varied cognitive stages in areas of linguistics, logic and mathematics, bodily-kinesthesis, interpersonal and intrapersonal aptitudes, the natural world, visual-spatial elements, and music, parents and educators can facilitate each child’s ability to “think outside of the box” through engaging and tailored learning sessions. It is within this framework that I have exercised my knowledge and innovative vision as an educator with the Funlastic Brain program; guided by my unwavering passion and dedication to the advancement of the Multiple Intelligences Theory across differentiated learning planes, my work continues to enrich and enhance each and every child’s capacity to learn.
