Vocabulary Workshop Curriculum is rigorous and challenging for many students. This resource allows you to assign only the EVEN vocabulary words for students to study and learn. It outlines which questions correspond directly to the EVEN vocabulary words. Teachers can have students circle/highlight the numbered questions that relate to the even numbered vocabulary to limit them to half of the word list while still maintaining the fidelity of the program. Explorer Unit Plan with Catholic Identity
This is one of several unit plans I made for our Catholic School. The idea is to take the existing "unit' I already used and interweave Catholic identity to make our faith part of the learning. A non-Catholic and public classroom would also be able to use it. The way I tied in Catholic faith is a comparison of Christopher Columbus' history from different perspectives.
