About the store
Hello! My name is Amy Lewis, and I am passionate about supporting teachers in building strong, confident readers through research-based, practical strategies. Throughout my career in education, I’ve had the privilege of teaching students from kindergarten through eighth grade. Each age group has deepened my belief that learning should be joyful, engaging, and accessible to every child. Today, I focus on helping teachers simplify and strengthen their reading instruction, with an emphasis on Science of Reading practices that truly work in real classrooms. Whether it's sparking blending skills in kindergarten or supporting decoding strategies in third grade, my goal is to make literacy instruction clear, simple, and powerful for both teachers and students. Teaching remains my greatest passion, and I am excited to share tools, strategies, and encouragement to make your literacy journey smoother and more successful. Thank you for being here! I hope the resources and coaching you find will bring clarity, confidence, and joy to your classroom. Happy Teaching!

Teaching style

Clear, joyful, and research-based. I believe learning should be engaging and approachable, built on a strong foundation of what really works (like Science of Reading practices). I combine warmth and structure — using simple, proven techniques to make early reading success achievable for every child. I prioritize clarity (breaking concepts down simply). I create an encouraging, positive environment where students (and teachers!) feel capable. I focus on step-by-step, practical methods that teachers can apply immediately — no fluff, no overwhelm.
