FUNtastic Teaching in Third

I use these daily as a warm-up to start our math class. The warm-ups focus on 4 facts each day. Students write the multiples for the fact set, answer and write each fact four times, and then answer the mixed problems. Counters are included at the top for those students that need them.

Measurement won't "scare" your students with this monster activity! Students will measure to the nearest half inch and to the nearest inch. I have also included an answer key for measuring to the nearest centimeter. This product can be used as a whole group scoot activity or a small group center. There are 20 items to measure and record. A recording sheet and answer key are provided.

This is a PDF version that can be printed out and laminated for student use. All vocabulary words and definitions are included on Cheat Sheets that can be printed and given to students as study guides. There are 21 Cheat Sheets with 8 vocabulary words on each page. This product is a matching game for the Associative, Commutative, Zero, and Identity properties of multiplication. Display charts explaining each property, teacher directions, student directions, matching game, and recording sheet are included.

This is a Promethean Flipchart on the parts of a friendly letter. It contains a detailed description of each part, as well as formative assessments throughout the lesson. Whole group activities are included in the flipchart along with a catchy song that was downloaded from You Tube.There is also an activity included in the notes page at the end of the flipchart and an exit ticket assessment. This flipchart can be converted to a Smart file for those with Smart Boards.
