Experience

Hi! Thank you so much for being here! I am in my 18th year of teaching. I've taught a variety of math subjects(Algebra 1, Foundations of Algebra, PreCalculus, Geometry, Algebra 2, Agile Minds), but I began teaching Financial Algebra in 2020. I love it! I hope you enjoy teaching as much as I do, even on the most challenging days. I've also been an instructional math coach for my district.

Teaching style

Relationships with my students are at the forefront of my classroom. I like to get to know each one of them. I use different strategies, and like to incorporate group work, partner work, and walking whiteboards.

Additional biographical information

I am a mom to three amazing children. Andrew is a field engineer, Alyssa is at UC Davis, and my youngest just turned five, which keeps me on my toes. Thank you for looking at my products.
