Many of my resources are the results of modifying the general education curriculum to make it more accessible for my students.
Fill out this Emergency Contact Card for each student. Can be printed and used as a reference document for students to complete more complex form (IEP Goal). Or can be turned into a Google Classroom activity who are working on identifying personal information.
Introduces finding the average/mean of a data set with step-by-step instructions. Great for students who need extra support or graphic organizers to gain an understanding of a new concept. It is editable if the educator wants to change the values in the worksheet.
This lesson on Persuasive Writing was created for an 8:1:1 class. It focuses on advertisements as a type of persuasive text. Gives examples of different types of ads with reflection questions such as "what is this ad trying to persuade you to buy?" "what images does the ad use to persuade the audience?"
Created for a special education 6:1:1 class. Students define what germs are and learn that they can be found on any surface. Go through the steps for washing hands.
Word problems: Find the range of a set of data. Includes mini graphic organizer under each word problem to support students who need the extra support.

L.T. - I can follow safety and etiquette rules when using a public bathroom. Created for a special education 8/6:1:1 classroom. Goes over specific rules with yes/no comprehension questions, for example: when we go into a public bathroom, we close the stall door.
Six slides introducing what a personal narrative is. Activity lets students choose a topic to write about, create a draft, and then write one paragraph about the topic.
Get the Robot Mouse to the Cheese by writing a code. The workbook is editable so educators can edit the maze/direction of the mouse to make the activity as easy or challenging as possible.
We use safety signs to help us make the right choices when traveling through our community. Activity lets students choose from a field of two to identify safety signs in buildings and on the street.
