About the store
Hi! I have been working with kids for over 16 years now, from grades Pre-k - 8th. Starting out as an assistant I quickly was given the role of Director for a before and after school program. I have also worked as an assistant in self-contained classrooms, SPED inclusion classrooms, and have taken the role as a one-on-one for SPED/Behavioral students transitioning to Gen-Ed. I feel even though I am not a certified teacher to the world, deep down I am a teacher at heart.

I have also worked as an assistant in self-contained classrooms, SPED inclusion classrooms, and have taken the role as a one-on-one for SPED/Behavioral students transitioning to Gen-Ed. Teaching style

I ask myself if my lesson isn't fun for me to teach, then how can I make it fun? I believe if I'm having fun teaching it they will have fun learning it. I love supporting all levels of learning, so I like to provide the same lesson but modified for a diverse group of learners and it's important for me to always keep it colorful and engaging.

Awards & shining teacher moments

School District Star Award Personally, I am Honored by the work I have done all these years (recognized or not) and taking part in supporting each student's progress to reach individual milestones and goals.

My own education history

Associates Degree in Elementary Education & BA in Early Childhood Education.

Additional biographical information

I strive to provide both parents and educators with fun and engaging modified learning materials for all levels of individual learners.
