Education and Professional Background
I am a qualified teacher with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a PGCE in ICT, with over 25 years of teaching experience across Computer Science, ICT, Design Technology, STEM, and Robotics in both the United Kingdom and international schools across Asia.
Throughout my career, I have taught a range of internationally recognised curricula, including Cambridge IGCSE Computer Science, IB Computer Science, AP Computer Science Principles, and AP Computer Science A. I have also held leadership positions including Head of Computer Science and Head of ICT, where I have developed programmes of study, introduced new curricula, and supported students in achieving excellent academic outcomes.
Alongside classroom teaching, I have a strong interest in STEM education, robotics, makerspaces, and project-based learning. I have led robotics teams, developed makerspaces and fabrication laboratories, coordinated technology competitions, and helped students apply computational thinking to real-world challenges.
My students have achieved consistently strong examination results, including over 60% achieving A*βA grades at IGCSE and a 100% A*βC pass rate. I have also guided students to success in international STEM competitions, including championship-winning robotics and innovation projects.
These experiences have shaped my teaching philosophy and inspired the creation of FutureLogic Education, an interactive learning platform designed to make Computer Science more engaging, accessible, and effective for learners around the world.
