I created this Power Point Presentation to teach my third grade students about some of our national symbols. Included in the presentation are the Liberty Bell, The Declaration of Independance, Betsy Ross, The Bald Eagle, The Constitution, Capitol Building, The White House, and The Statue of Liberty. The National Symbols teacher and student graphic organizers, with the text that accomplanies this project, can be found in my TPT store.

This National Symbols research project was created at two different times, two different ways for two different classes. :) One project is outlined to be completed entirely at home using the booklet students complete in class, the other is to be completed completely in class using the same booklet. When paired with the National Symbols Power Point Presentation, these two documents (students and teacher copies) will guide the instruction and understanding of some of our most well known symbols, from the Statue of Liberty to The White House. Students follow along with the teacher in their handout while the teacher reads and shows picture of each symbol. The Power Point Presenation can be purchased from my TPT store.

This is a Power Point slide I made for my third grade social studies class on famous Americans. Students are intrduced to seven famous americans, given facts about them, and then they complete a class project about one of the people they learned about. There are templates for students to use, as well as a project outline if you search Famous Americans graphic organizer, and Famous Americans project.

This is the final project to go with the Famous Americans unit, which can be downloaded for free from my TPT store. Students use the informationthey have learned in this unit, along with the research they will be doing in the project, to create a poster to be presented and graded in class.

This document is to be paired with the Famous Americans Power Point that can also be downloded for free! I made these documents to teach my third grade students about seven different famous Americans. The Power Point has pictures and information on each famous American, and students use this Microsoft Word document to record the information. There are three different forms included in the document in order to meet the various needs of your students. After we finished the unit, my students comple
