Graphing Functions on the TI Graphing Calculator
This activity is a great introduction for students new to the TI Graphing Calculator or for anyone needing a refresher. With step–by–step printed instructions and bright infographics, students will learn how to enter functions into the calculator, graph functions, set the window settings, find x & y intercepts, find x–values given a y–value and find y–values given an x–value. There are also examples for students to test their understanding for each topic.

Putting Unit Circle Into Graphing Calculator
This is a great resource to help students generate the unit circle on the TI-graphing calculator. This activity could be used before or after you have taught students the unit circle. Teaching Suggestions:Teachers could take students through the steps in class using a TI emulator or let students work on it independently. Factoring Trinomials When a = 1 & a ≠ 1
This package teaches students how to factor trinomials. Students will review how to do product–sum factoring for simple polynomials of the form x^2 + bx + c (including a trick on the calculator to find factor pairs). There are two questions with video instructions illustrating this method, followed by 6 questions (with answers) to test their understanding. Teaching style
I like to teach students through connections to previous concepts with an emphasis on math rooted in geometry. I believe if students understand <b>why</b> we are learning a concept or <b>how</b> it is derived, they will make meaningful connections and achieve long lasting retention.
