About the store

Experience

I have taught a wide range of classes from elementary through high school over the past 17 years including US History, World History, AP World History, Civics and Economics, Sociology, Psychology, AP Psychology, IB Psychology, Theory of Knowledge, and CAS.

Teaching style

I believe in the value of gamification. Gamification of content and skills provide the opportunity for all of the following: critical thinking through problem solving, chunking of content for proper cognitive load, immediate feedback, differentiated/different-paced learning, small group collaboration, positive socialization through low stakes competition, the contextualization of history, and most importantly, a FUN learning experience that is both intrinsically and extrinsically motivating.
