Coordinates of Points - 6 versions with answers
This pdf file contains 6 versions of problem sets. Each problem set contains 10 problems; 5 where students write the coordinates for points and 5 where students plot points. Their are 2 different sets per page to reduce copying costs. Each set has a small symbol so students do not easily know they are doing different work than their neighbor. Experience
This is my 25th year in education, mostly teaching high school mathematics and science, but I have also taught middle school and post secondary plus directed an education grant. This is also my 15th year at Estes Park High School, where I teach Algebra 2, Honors Algebra 2, Physics, AP Physics, College Statistics, and College Algebra.
Teaching style
I integrate math and science together as much as I can. Labs in math classes help students make connections and learn better.
Awards & shining teacher moments
I have participated in Research Experience for Teachers (RET) at Cornell University and Academy Creating Teacher Scientists (ACTS) program at Princeton. I also presented at National Council of Teachers of Mathematics and American Association of Physics Teachers national conferences.

I coach boys and girls middle school and high school basketball. I enjoy hiking in the mountains and attending math and science conferences.
