Dots and Boxes is a twist on an old and simple game. This fact fluency strategy game helps students practice math facts and make decisions based on their strengths. A student and their partner will draw horizontal or vertical lines between each dot. When they make a box they must answer the equation. If they get it right, the students can fill in the box. The student with the must colored blocks wins the game. Thanks and have fun!

You can use these scramble squares as a way to review some basic multiplication math facts. You can print these on card stock and laminate to make them last longer. There are two different puzzles. A 4x4 scramble square and a 3x3. I use them both to mix them up so students don’t get bored with the puzzles. Thank you and enjoy!
