Great extension activity to your tessellation unit or project! Students create their own tessellation, and early finishers, GT students, or all students can complete this activity to push them in their learning!

This was created as part of a monthly project for my gifted and talented students. Feel free to modify it with your due dates!

This story is a story I created using the following SAT vocabulary words: Adhere Brittle capacious Deceive Erratic Baleful Incredulous Jubilant Legacy Malleable Novelty Obscure Potent Fabricate Ghastly Humiliate Irritable Knickknack Laudable Muddle Memento Quadruple Radiance Salutation Scribe Teem Simplify Tranquil Verify Whimsical Yearling zephyr I have students highlight the words, define it in that sentence, and then create a new sentence based on what they think it means.

Compare and contrast creating a real snowflake to a man made snow crystal from borax using this handy Venn Diagram! Included are some of the answers we came up with as a class!
