Great extension activity to your tessellation unit or project! Students create their own tessellation, and early finishers, GT students, or all students can complete this activity to push them in their learning!

Using the SCAMPER model, I've created this activity specifically about butterflies. You simply choose ANY type of craft butterfly activity and complete. Once finished, give these topics to students to activate higher level thinking skills!

This was created as part of a monthly project for my gifted and talented students. Feel free to modify it with your due dates!

This project was designed to incorporate all that I have taught my GATE students about geography. They are responsible for creating their own continent, countries, states and capital cities, as well as everything that goes into planning those.

This is a basic geography skills pre-test I came up with to see what my students knew before I began the unit.

Compare and contrast creating a real snowflake to a man made snow crystal from borax using this handy Venn Diagram! Included are some of the answers we came up with as a class!

Students create their own activity book.

I created this so that students have a guideline for researching on the internet. When given free range, they struggled to come up with a topic or know where to look. I created this chart for them to document what they know and what to learn, as well as 'starter topics' for them to research. Once they've found things that interest them, they write them on the topic sides and document their research.
