Students can show their knowledge of parts of a whole by drawing/colouring and labelling the decimals, percentages and fractions of these tenths and hundredths models. Print this double sided worksheet for students to learn and understand the equivalence between decimals, fractions and percentages. My students enjoyed this and realised how simply it was to find each representation for the models.
Three different levelled code riddle breakers that you can use for maths. These code breakers allow students to solve addition and subtraction fraction problems with different worksheets of same, related and unrelated denominators. My students enjoyed working with partners/mini groups to solve the riddle. The low task is suited for students working at a year 3-4 level, the middle task is suited for students working at a year 5-7 level and the high task is suited for students working beyond year

I created this for my students to do while remote learning is currently occurring. It allowed them to understand the tens and ones in numbers and complete subtraction problems. We use OneNote so students could easily copy the work into the book that they took home. This could also be used a simple form of assessment.
In this project, students will be able to design and create a product. They will also be required to create a business name and logo, shop and prototype. It encourages students to solve real-life world problems and to think outside of the box.
