Students can complete this cut and paste chance activity by placing the events/outcomes in the correct row of the matching vocabulary word. These are Impossible, Very Unlikely, Unlikely, Even Chance, Likely, Very Likely and Certain. You may even like to extend the students to write the fraction, decimal or percentage of the events/outcomes after they have finished. This could also be used as a homework activity.
Three different levelled code riddle breakers that you can use for maths. These code breakers allow students to solve addition and subtraction fraction problems with different worksheets of same, related and unrelated denominators. My students enjoyed working with partners/mini groups to solve the riddle. The low task is suited for students working at a year 3-4 level, the middle task is suited for students working at a year 5-7 level and the high task is suited for students working beyond year
This homework grid is made up of many interesting activities students can do at home. The topics include geography, history, mathematics, reading, writing, and it also allows students to be creative. I have used this in my own classroom and I have given it to my student's parents. They loved completing the project based activities, making posters and researching various topics.
Students can use this to complete and study their spelling words each week or as homework. The table/sheet allows them to follow the steps of Look, Say, Name, Cover/Write and Check.
