I have taught both in public and private schools. For a year I taught 6th-8th grade science and social studies and the following year I taught 1st and 5th grade. While teaching in Southern California, I noticed that a critical gap existed for the English Language Learner population. Following my classroom work, I started working with schools directly to implement supports for their staff to support a more diverse school population.
