This product includes 15 matches between equations and models using multiplication and division with decimals. Equations include decimals X decimals, whole numbers X decimals, and decimals divided by whole numbers along with their corresponding model. Equations were intentionally chosen so that students HAVE to know the difference in order to answer. This product is intended to help students identify the similarities and differences between multiplication and division models with decimals.
This activity is extremely rigorous, relevant, and engaging. Students will design their own game room. Their game room has to have the area of 60. There are multiple ways to get that area, so students must use the additive property of area to combine the area of rectangles to see which ones fit together to make a total area of 60.
This game is fun, engaging, and interactive. Students will divide 4 digit dividends with 2 digit divisors and locate their answer on the game board. Once they get three squares in a row, they win! Great for math stations/ centers and cooperative learning.
Students will be able to design a carnival layout using different booth options. Each booth has a different area, so they will have to decide where they want to place each booth. This activity uses knowledge of both multiplication and division concepts.
This activity will allow students to understand the difference between the multiplication properties including the associative property, commutative property, distributive property, and partial products. Students will be able to identify and sort number sentences into the different properties. There is also a page for higher achieving students that includes boxes over numbers so that they can fill in the correct number according to the correct property.
Great for provoking higher order thinkin

In this product, you will receive 72 total cards ( 9 pairs for volume/capacity, 9 pairs for weight/mass, 9 pairs for time, and 9 pairs for length). In each category, there are one step conversions, as well as at least one that is a two step conversion.
There are multiple uses for this product-
- Could be printed in black and white and have students sort units for volume/capacity, weight/mass, time, and length based on the units of measurement.
- Could be used for memory (flip all cards face
This game helps students with rounding and adding. It can be used in stations or partner groups. I left the amount of numbers blank so that you could write in the number of place values that you wanted them to roll- more room for differentiation! :)
Students will begin to read word problems more carefully and think more in depth for each problem.
This warm up template takes time to perfect. Students will be frustrated and it will take a long time, but if you stick with it, the results are amazing! Students will start to think more critically and it will become easier and easier as the year goes on.
You can manipulate each day’s number or question to fit the standard you are working on. Also, you can use this to spiral revie
These multiplication problems will get your students thinking! They are multiple step problems including multiplication with addition and multiplication with subtraction. This can be used in stations or independently. It would be a fun way to do some test prep if students need help with multiple step problems.
These puzzles evoke critical thinking and problem solving in all students! In this product, you will receive 16 different puzzles.
Students will use addition, subtraction, multiplication, or division to complete the puzzles. These can be used after students have mastered the operations or for an early finishers activity.

This product includes 12 equation and quotient matches. This product focuses on the need or absence of zeros when dividing with decimals. Division equations are written vertically and horizontally so students can see them both ways. Equations are all decimals (greater than and less than one whole) divided by whole numbers. I have included an answer sheet for students to record answers as well as an answer key.
HOW DO I FIGURE OUT WHAT OPERATION TO USE?
This flowchart will help! :) Give students the tools they need to answer their own questions! With using this product, students will begin to ask themselves these questions in order to fully understand word problems and what the word problems are asking. In the flowchart format, they can guide themselves to the proper operation.
