Place these 3 inch by 3 inch squares on each desk to help students think through math word problems! I love that students are able to think through the UPSC model by themselves using this template. The goal is that they see the thinking process daily and eventually it will become automatic.

These anchor charts will help students recognize the similarities and differences between the addition and multiplication properties.

HOW DO I FIGURE OUT WHAT OPERATION TO USE? This flowchart will help! :) Give students the tools they need to answer their own questions! With using this product, students will begin to ask themselves these questions in order to fully understand word problems and what the word problems are asking. In the flowchart format, they can guide themselves to the proper operation.
