About the store
Theatre is an art that belongs to us all! Through play and acting, you can increase accessibility, creativity, and improve learning outcomes in your classroom or learning context. I aim to share arts methods and resources that will support you in the work you already do, improve learner success, and nurture the healthy learning spaces we all crave. I have worked in public schools in Washington and Tennessee, spent over 20 years working in a theatre camp setting, and have served educational theatre for a non-profit community theatre. I am a current masters student in acting while also teaching theatre to undergraduate students. My key passions in the educational world are: --healthy learners, healthy teachers --increased access to theatre methods to apply in any learning context --actor training for the modern world, for all ages --improving literacy through play and theatre

Multiplication Strategies

This is a 'cheat-sheet' which reviews the Commutative Property of Multiplication and also addresses the use of factors to simplify multiplication. It can be used as a teaching resource or as a print-out for kids to utilize. It is organized in 2 columns so that you can print double sided and give kids a half-sheet that can be hole punched and put into a binder.

Positive Traits (Adjectives) activity

Kids are asked to select adjectives which describe the subject of an image. Eventually, they circle any which also apply to themselves. Finally, they create a list of 40 traits for use in the future. I have included a slide with some ideas of how to use the lists. I have removed the images I used, as I did not seek permission to use them. Consider inserting an image of a celebrity, a historical figure, a cartoon or TV character, and a landscape/animal picture.
