These short passages are wonderful for students that are in higher grades and struggle with reading. They are written for a 2nd grader, but are very basic so would be great resource for a struggling 5th grader that needs practice, because the passages don't look elementary. Includes flashcards and two short practice passages focusing on compound words. Also includes compound words practice handout.
