This is a PowerPoint presentation for the first day of class when you are going over rules, expectations, and course objectives with your students. It can be modified to meet the needs of your students and classroom. The presentation also includes grading policies and classroom materials. I also print out a handout version for students to take home and have their parents sign as their first homework assignment.

I use these to do listening and draw activities. Students listen to a story that you tell in the target language using the vocabulary they are studying. After completing, we usually review the story together and you also may follow up with a writing activity.

This is an authentic song to bring a little culture and better manage your classroom! Whenever the class is getting too noisy, I pull out my friend "owl" and begin to sing this song. Kids love it!
