About the store

With 27 years of being an educator, I have experience with pre-k, kindergarten, first, and second grade. I have been a literacy coach and host classroom for ESOL, SPED, and EIP. My current role is the reading and math EIP teacher grades K-2. I have my Dyslexia Endorsement, Master's in Reading, and Specialist in Curriculum and Instruction. I am currently in the Meaningful Mentorship for Orton-Gillingham certification.

Multi-sensory Heart word mat for mapping

Students will love reading the heart word/irregular high frequency word, tapping out the sounds, figuring out the heart part, and writing them along with putting the new word in a sentence. This can be laminated or put in a page protector for multiple uses.

My own education history

I have a Master's in Reading and a specialist in curriculum and instruction. I have currently received my Dyslexia Endorsement as well as my Teacher Support Specialist and Coach. I have been trained in Orton-Gillingham but learning more each day! I enjoy making learning fun and multi-sensory for ALL!
