This is an activity to practice the direction of left and right. Students will use pumpkins and bats to sort. The students will cut and past the pumpkins into the left column and the bats into the right column.

For a Fall activity have your student taste various apples: Red Delicious, Golden Delicious, and Granny Smith. Have students write about their favorite apple. This activity is always a hit! This is a very good starter writing activity.

Every week I choose a Star Student to reward great behavior. As Star Student one child is able to take home the class mascot- KinderRoo the Kindergarten Kangaroo! Students write a journal entry about what they did with KinderRoo! The children love being able to take home KinderRoo! It teaches responsiblity and promotes good behavior!
