G. Katz Chronicle aka Francine Wizner has over three decades of teaching experience in primary, secondary, and higher education. Having taught all major content areas in primary and middle school, as well as education theory and biology at the secondary and college level, she currently spends her time as a Citizen Scientist in the management of her home in an enchanted woodland of New York State.
Even with a PhD in Curriculum and Instruction, she continues to be a perpetual student of nature. To help other educators, students, and parents she has authored several books, many instructional materials, and writes regular columns on education, science, and nature.

Teaching style
A structured enviroment promotes learning. Students thrive not just with "hands-on" tasks, but with "brains-on" activities. My materials are inquiry based, engaging, and straight-forward. All of my products are well-tested and cater to students of all learning modalities and achievement levels.

My own education history
I hold a PhD in Curriculum and Instruction focusing on Science Education. Along with many, many science content courses (evolution, anatomy, ecology, etc, etc), my educational history includes business, economics, special education, and massage therapy!
My continuing research as a Citizen Scientist / Manager of a NY woodland, as well as my investigations involved in writing (found at: https://substack.com/@gkatzchronicle, https://medium.com/@wiznerf, and the Hudson Valley Naturalist for the Southern/Northern Dutchess News Group), inform the creation of my cross-curricular activities here on TPT. With those, I strive to ease the burden of educators in a variety of content areas with the hard work of lesson planning.
Additional biographical information
I am a perpetual student of traditional education and all areas of self improvement. Writing and other types of creating (photographing, sculpting, cooking, etc.) helps me learn. Practicing things outside my comfort zone helps me get better. I try to find some humor when I make stuff, even if I screw up. I share my ideas and hope that the information can be of use to anyone stumbling upon my efforts online.
