Students will create a snowman. Each part of the snowman has a coin on it. They will need to find how many of each coin they used and add up the value of their entire snowman. This is a great way to practice finding the value of a group of coins.

Students will create snowmen by decomposing and composing teen numbers. They will use ten frames, base ten blocks, and addition sentences.
