Going Crazy in Eighth

Students practice finding the value of angles in complimentary and supplementary angle relationships when given one value. Can be used as SCOOT style cards, BTC thin slicing, task cards around the room, or centers. 20 questions in increasing difficulty included. Aligned to grade 6 and 7 CCSS.

Students get practice with plotting, comparing and ordering integers with a winter and winter sports theme. Aligned to grade 6 CCSS. Post around the classroom for some movement opportunities, use as centers, task cards, or at vertical spaces for BTC style classrooms.

Review rate tables and many real-life tasks involving distance, cost per item, miles per hour and more using this Amazing Race style activity! Break students into groups, hand out the boarding pass facedown, then yell "go!" and the race to review is on. All students must show their work and have it checked at each "location" before moving on to the next with their teammates. As a teacher, you will get to see all of your students as they get their work checked and see what the class is knocking
