About the store
As a third year teacher, I am currently teaching second grade at a Title 1 school, where I have the rewarding opportunity to work with a diverse group of students, including those with special education needs. My experience has allowed me to develop and implement differentiated instruction strategies to meet the unique needs of each student. Working in a Title 1 school has given me a deep appreciation for the importance of equity and access in education, and I am committed to providing a supportive and inclusive learning environment. Through collaboration with special education professionals and continuous professional development, I strive to create engaging and effective lessons that foster a love of learning and help all students achieve their full potential.

Teaching style

My teaching style is characterized by a strong emphasis on organization and structure, which I believe are essential for creating a conducive learning environment. I incorporate differentiated instruction to address the diverse needs and learning styles of my students, ensuring that each child has the opportunity to succeed. Hands-on activities are a core component of my approach, as I find that engaging students in interactive and practical experiences enhances their understanding and retention of concepts. By maintaining a well-organized classroom and providing structured, yet flexible, lessons, I aim to create a supportive and dynamic educational experience that fosters both academic growth and a love for learning.

My own education history

I hold a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education and Special Education, which has equipped me with a solid foundation in teaching young learners and addressing diverse educational needs. This dual focus has provided me with the skills and knowledge to support students of varying abilities, fostering an inclusive and supportive classroom environment. Currently, I am furthering my education by pursuing a Master's degree in Reading Instruction. This advanced study is enhancing my expertise in literacy development and equipping me with cutting-edge strategies to improve reading skills among my students. My ongoing commitment to professional growth reflects my dedication to providing the highest quality education and support to all my students.
