As a third year teacher, I am currently teaching second grade at a Title 1 school, where I have the rewarding opportunity to work with a diverse group of students, including those with special education needs. My experience has allowed me to develop and implement differentiated instruction strategies to meet the unique needs of each student. Working in a Title 1 school has given me a deep appreciation for the importance of equity and access in education, and I am committed to providing a supportive and inclusive learning environment. My own education history
I hold a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education and Special Education, which has equipped me with a solid foundation in teaching young learners and addressing diverse educational needs. This dual focus has provided me with the skills and knowledge to support students of varying abilities, fostering an inclusive and supportive classroom environment. Currently, I am furthering my education by pursuing a Master's degree in Reading Instruction. This advanced study is enhancing my expertise in literacy development and equipping me with cutting-edge strategies to improve reading skills among my students. My ongoing commitment to professional growth reflects my dedication to providing the highest quality education and support to all my students.
