I have taught a total of 21 years both online and in a brick and mortar school. I have been a general education teacher and a Title 1 teacher.

I have high expectations and use evidenced based methods and creativity simultaneously to build comprehension and confidence in reading skills. My own education history
I graduated from the University of Cincinnati with a degree in Psychology and then returned to become certified in Elementary Education. I obtained my Reading Endorsement and Masters in Reading from Notre Dame College. I am also Orton Gillingham trained and certified. In addition, I train staff on how to use UFLI as an intervention during our school wide MTSS time. Currently, I am on the MTSS Leadership Team at my Ohio public school.
Additional biographical information
I was born in Santa Cruz, Bolivia but grew up in the United States. I have lived in Michigan, Colorado, Ohio and London, England. Each new place gave me unique experiences and allowed me to meet inspirational people.
I come from a family of teachers. My mom taught for 33 years and both of my sisters are also teachers. Teaching is in my blood and I enjoy my job immensely!
