I bring this up on my computer and project it on the board to trace onto the large chart paper! My kids refer back to this all year long, after we cover the subject. You can also print this out and have the kids glue it into their math journals.
A quick assessment to give at the end of a lesson, or even a graded activity!
We use this when we start decomposing numbers as well as on place value units.
Print two pages and copy double sided to save some paper (:
Enjoy!
A bright, fun way to help kids learn what the places mean and their values!
I project this on the board and trace this over chart paper to hang in my class.
Enjoy!
We sometimes do this for morning work, or a quick brain warm up.
You can make a class set and put them in sheet protectors for the kids to use dry erase markers on!
Enjoy!
